Oxford Thames Hotel

11th November 2018

Something a little different for us as this time we were asked to help with the ultimate in romantic surprises as Simon wanted to propose to his lovely girlfriend. All the arrangements were made in secret and so we found ourselves on a chilly November evening turning the Gazebo at the Oxford Thames hotel into a fairylit grotto. Simon had written a heartfelt speech and each part of it was typed out and hidden in 5 confetti filled balloons. We added tons of candles to add to the romantic feel and we are delighted to say that the answer was "YES".

Milton Hill House Hotel

October 2017

This lovely couple had already said their "I do's" in Japan and had had a stunning photoshoot taken with all the gorgeous blossoms, so wanted to reflect this very important time in their decor for their ceremony and wedding back here in the Uk. Their colour palette was baby blues and pinks which worked perfectly with our stunning blossom branches. To add a touch of sparkle our ever popular rose gold sequin table runners adorned the guest talbles with pretty little vintage tealights adding a soft glow. The whole scheme was set against the backdrop of our fab Flower Wall with baby pink satin drops to add a splash of colour.

Our stunning Martini vases filled with ivory artificial bouquets looked stylish and chic and were complimented by our blush pink sequin runners to add just a little colour. We also provided our enamle postbox and pretty signs as well as a welcome sign decorated with simple greenery and pink roses.

Soft and romantic colours for this wedding. We started by decorating the church providing pretty pew ends of artificial bouquets and gypsophelia with dusky pink ribbon detailing as well as our stunning greenery arch.

At the reception venue, the guest tables were delicately dressed with blossom branches in pinks and whites  and of course our ever popular blush pink sequin runners to add a touch of sparkle. The top table was dressed with our silver crackle vases filled with lovely artificial bouquets in ivory and our stunning Flower Wall took centre stage providing a gorgeous backdrop. The greenery arch was relocated from the church and positioned at the hotel at the entrance to the wonderful gardens.

Cherwell Boat House

30th September 2017

A gorgeous setting along the river bank for this wedding of a lovely couple. The theme was berries and the attention to detail for this couple was second to none. Greenery played a big part and we provide stunning table runners of soft ruscus and of course our favourite Eucalyptus with its glorious colour and wonderful smell. Geometric shapes were also very important and the addition of stunningly simple terrariums and our gorgeous purple geo glass votives added a real splash of colour, perfectly complimenting the dishes of yummy blackberries. Even the plates were given a special touch with a stem of Eucalyptus and some berries to compliment the whole scheme.

Wyck Hill House

September 2017

This couple had a fairytale, Disney inspired theme and wanted to create the feeling of an enchanted forest with a vintage twist. Gorgeous cream candleabras hosted fresh flower displays and were complimented by the use of artificial peonies in soft pinks and creams delicately displayed in vintage teacups stacked on books. Behind the Top Table, we framed the stunning view with a greenery and voile arch with a stunning floral crowning to add that extra special touch.

Oxford University

19th August 2017

What a stunning location!!! This beautiful venue situated in the heart of Oxford is steeped in history and provided a fabulous backdrop to this lovely couples day. The ceremony was held in the University chapel which was simply breathtaking. The couple wanted a "Midsummers Night Dream" theme so we incorporated a lot of greenery with simple yet stunning ivory roses. The chapel was delicately draped with ivy and our artificial bay trees flanked the entrance accompanied by our welcome board. For the reception, again the room had bags of character so the focus was on the tables themselves with our stunning greenery runners and floral arrangements. The chairs were given a touch of colour with our ivory flower clips and ribbons in coral and peach. We also provided some gorgeous floral favours, potted plants, wrapped and tagged and the perfect gift for the couples guests.

Milton Hill House Hotel

19th August 2017

Flowers were an important detail of this couples wedding and our gorgeous artificial blooms fitted the bill perfectly. The weather was kind, which meant their ceremony took place with the stunning backdrop of the hotels gardens and the ceremony area was decorated with artifiial ivy and gypsophelia garlands as well as a stunning aisle created with artificial floral runners and our silver lanterns with our graceful blossom trees marking the entrance. Inside the floral theme continued with milk churns filled with artificial peonies in a mix of pinks, purples and creams and a touch of sparkle from our silver sequin table runners.

Steventon House Hotel

19th August 2017

This lovely couple wanted to incorporate vibrant colours with soft details for their big day. Our gorgeous birdcages were filled with artificial hydrangea heads in soft shades of blue and were sat on glass pillars to add a little height, surrounded by ivory artificial flower rings. To add a splash of colours are selection of jam jars had burnt orange ribbon and lace added and filled with gypsophelia. We also provided chair covers and sashes in stunning royal blue to compliment the scheme.

Milton Hill House Hotel

12th August 2017

A mix of soft pinks and navy blue were this couple chosen colours. They opt'd to go for a mix of two types of centerpiece, choosing both Martini vases and Lily vases to add extra interest. The artificial blooms co-ordinated beautifully with the taller vases filled with a mix of artificial blossom branches and the Martini vases filled with artificial peonies in a mix of pinks and creams. The tables were laid with our stunning rose gold sequinned runners to add a touch of glamour and were finished off with a selection of pretty tealights in silver and pink metallics.

The room was dressed with a gorgeous fairylight canopy and we also provided our lovely vintage Postbox with personalised card and of course our ever popular Confetti bar to create that all important "confetti shot".

Steventon House

28th July 2017

A soft, rustic, romntic feel for this wedding with a few quirky details to represent the couples personality thrown in for good measure. Beautiful clouds of pink hydrangeas filled our rutic milk churns, whilst simple jam jars decorated with ribbon and filled casually with flowers add a soft touch. Attention to detail was key and there were some lovely touches including the wooden name tags tied with ribbon and of course the unique table name cards representing all their fav superheros.

Heythrop Park

July 2017

Clean lines and subtle details were the order of the day for this scheme, creating a fresh and zingy feel with a mix of greens, ivory and of course a burst of sunshine yellow. All of the flowers used, including the greenery were artificial. The tables were dressed with a mix of tall silver candleabras and Martini vases filled with beautiful artificial cream peony bouquets with just a touch of yellow from the pretty roses. The top table was dressed with an artificial greenery runner created using a mix of ivy, fern and gyp as well as some bold statement candlesticks to add a sense of drama.

Sophie's Birthday

23rd July 2017

Oxford Spires.

Fun, colour and a nod to the 70's was the order of the day for this special birthday celebration. We had lots of fun creating this scheme, from the decoupage bottles in bright 70's style prints to the covered book sets which provided that added personal touch as all the table names were created with book titles that were of importance to the Birthday girl. Glowsticks, slinkies and lots of streamers as well of course as a few balloons all added to the party feel.

Devere Oxford Thames Photoshoot

June 2017

As well as the many weddings and events we style, we are very fortunate to be asked to provide styling for venues for their marketing material. One of our most favourite venues is the Devere Oxford Thames hotel and we were recently asked to help them with a photoshoot they were doing to create some new images for their website and brochure to promote their Weddings.

This is such a beautiful venue, located just 3 miles from Oxford City centre, yet sat right on the banks of the river thames surrounded by over 30 acres of grounds. The hotel itself has bags of charm and character yet all the modern facilities to provide you with a first class service.

The great thing about doing these kinds of shoots is that we get to work closely with other amazing Wedding Suppliers like Louise Flemming of Louise Flemming Flowers, who created all of the gorgeous floral arrangements.

The overall design was on trend and achievable for real couples. The soft ivories, greens and clean lines compliment the venue perfectly and create a real sense of elegance. We love candles and this scheme allowed us to use tons of them!!!! From our elegant silver lanterns to the host of tiny tealights and votives that add those finishing touches. And of course our Flower Wall provided the perfect backdrop and we were able to show just how versatile it can be using it for both the ceremony and the reception to create that real wow factor.

Sionice and Ben - Southmoor and Kingston Bagpuize Village Hall

June 2017

We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to work with so many couples at such a key time in their life's. It's a something we never take for granted and feel extremely grateful for our small involvement in their special day each and every time.

Sometimes, along the way however we are lucky enough to meet an exceptional couple, that really leave their mark on us (for good reason we should add)! And this couple certainly did! It was an honour and a privilige to help these two special people to create the day of their dreams and we enjoyed every minute of it and they and us were totally thrilled with the results!!!!

Sionice and Ben had very clear ideas about what they wanted the end result to look like and key to this was creating a Marquee feel to the hall as well as something romantic and soft with tons of WOW factor!!!!

To find out more about how we created this stunning transformation, read our blog

Grace and Michael - Rotherford Greys Village Hall - Henley

May 2017

As many of you know we are big fans of Village Halls. Blank canvasses that can really showcase you, your personalities and style. We had the pleasure of styling a cracking venue in Henley on Thames recently. Grace & Michael wanted to create a relaxed day with a quintessential English garden feel in pastel tones. We used stunning hanging lanterns in pale pinks, lilac and sage green whilst adding a fairy light canopy on the beams for added effect. Welcoming guests was this stunning, arch way. Loaded with greenery and foliage. This really framed the entrance and created a woodland feel. The top table was quite literally 'crowned' by our bespoke hanging crown, make up of artificial ivy and wisteria. with a backdrop of rustic crates and LOVE letters. Vintage milk churns, pastel tone peonies stood on logs with hessian runners finished off the internal look. It was important to bring the outside space into the event, so we created a real focal point by creating a Photo Booth using the backdrop of a rather stunning tree! Hanging pastel & lace chandelier. Birdcages (with birds), lanterns and loaded with fairy lights. Small details added to the overall styling, wellies planted with bright spring flowers, a watering can and spade welcomed the guests.

Heythrop Park March 2017

A stunning March day and equally stunning venue, Heythrop Park Resort. The brief was floral elegance incorporating stunning pinks, lavender, thistles (with the groom being Scottish this seemed only right)! Tall martini vases, dressed with peonies, hydrangea, lavender and thistles stood on mirror plates with the pièce de résistance being our sparkling sequinned blush table runners. All the flowers used are artificial, although Lauren (the lovely wedding planner) did take some convincing that these blooms were artificial & not fresh flowers, which we think is a pretty good indication of how stunning our artificial blooms are.

Created a very beautiful large frame display for the couples photographs of loved ones, a diy photobooth which proved very popular with their guests and also had the opportuntity to work with the lovely Kate from Favours from us ( http://www.favoursfromus.co.uk/) to create all of the stunning stationary including their slightly bonkers Table Plan.
