Kate and Thomas

Kate and Thomas had very clear ideas about their special day and the way they wanted it to look. Although their Wedding took place in December they wanted to incorporate softer tones and a more romantic feel whilst still recognising the season. Their colour choices accommodated this perfectly with soft pinks coupled with deep burgundys and of course lots of greenery.  All of this was set against a background of classic ivory to create a super romantic and elegant feel.

Flowers played a big part in their day and our couple chose to opt for a mix of both fresh and artificial flowers which was an excellant choice due to the time of year and prevented their floral choices from being limited.

The Little Barn at The Devere Oxford Thames is the perfect place for an intimate ceremony. The room is packed with bags of character from the traditional beams to the stonework and provides the perfect backdrop for a seriously romantic moment.

Kate and Thomas chose a neutral colour pallette for their Ceremony utilising aspects of their reception decor. Pillars with statement floral display provided the entrance to the aisle. Silver Lanterns lined the aisle coupled with an ivory runner and our fabulous Flower Wall provided an elegant backdrop.

The Registrars table was decorated with a selection of pretty pots and candlesticks.

The Bridal Bouquet was a gorgeous mix of soft pink roses, deep burgundy Chrysanthmums, seasonal berries and anenomes with the addition of thistles and lots of greenery.

The Bride opted for smaller versions of her own bouquet for her Bridesmaids.

As is tradition, the grooms buttonhole was created with flowers from the Brides bouquet and the Groomsmen Button holes featured the pink rose and berries to compliment.

To ensure the whole scheme came together, the same flowers were utilised in the small silver pumpkin pots that decorated both the Guest and Top Table.

The Reception was held in the Conservatory, which is flooded with light even in December and is a gorgeous blank canvas which truely allowed Kate and Thomas's decor choices to shine.

Again they wanted to keep the backdrop to their ceremony quite simple and clean and our stunning artificial Ivory Hydrangea displays created a sense of drama and elegance.  Pops of statement colour were introduced using the pretty silver pumpkin pots filled with fresh flowers to compliment the Bridal Party flowers.

The Top table was decorated with a mix of pots filled with fresh flowers and candlesticks to add a romantic glow. The Flower Wall provided a soft backdrop to the Top Table.

Congratulations to Kate and Thomas, we wish you both every happiness in your future life together.
