Emily and James

If you are getting married in December, there is only one thing to do......embrace this magical season and create a Winter Wonderland that really has the "Wow" factor! Emily and James chose the stunning Eynsham Hall to host their special day and this imposing venue lent itself perfectly to their chosen style and scheme. The couple were very keen to compliement the season without being overly Christmas, this was their Wedding Day after all and we think you will agree the end result was totally breathtaking.

Every little detail was perfectly planned to create a seemless look and feel throughout their day. The venue has very stiking features and decor and we wanted their decorations to compliment as opposed to clash and enhance the beauty of this period building in all its glory. Of course working in a venue such as this doesn't come without its challenges and we had to be very mindful of the restrictions that are in place when creating the overall scheme.

The end result was truely stunning and it was certainly a highlight of our year. The Bride and Groom were delighted with the finished results and as you will see had an incredible day.

The Ceremony

The Ceremony took place in the aptly named "Red Room" and its deep velvet tones complimented the couples scheme perfectly. We used over 6000 artificial rose petals to create the aisle and the star of the show was undoubtably the 8ft Evergreen arch decorated with artificial winter berry garlands which framed the Registrars table.

Fresh flowers were a key part of Emily and James's big day and the use of seasonal flowers in stunning shades of deep red, silvery toned greenery and elegant ivories provided glorious floral arrangements, bridal party flowers and decorative elements.

The Brides bouquet was a stunning mix of Grand Prix roses,  euclyptus, thistles and berries all finished off with a deep red velvet ribbon. In contrast the Bridesmaids bouquets were a simple yet elegant mix of large headed ivory roses with oodles of greenery to perfectly compliement their stunning gowns. Even the Flower Girl had a super cute gold wand decorated with deep red rose buds and velvet ribbon.

And of course it wasn't just the girls, the Groom and Best men had stunning deep red rose buttonholes with a touch of greenery to soften.

The flowers also featured heavily in the decor, with fresh flower candle rings, gold pots filled with flowers and even the cake (which was created by the Brides uncle and was amazing) had fresh flower displays to compliment the stunning gold decor.

The reception

The Reception was held in the "Green Room" at Eynsham Hall, a stunning room with tons of character and period features. With such a strong backdrop, the decor needed to really pop and the gorgeous colour choices and tiny details created a totally breathtaking result. Every element worked perfectly, from the shimmering gold sequin cloths to the statuesque gold candleabra dressed with fresh flowers, the overall effect was one of glamour, elegance and total "wow".  The small details really added the finishing touches, the gold pots filled with fresh flowers, the pinecones dipped in gold as place card holders, the fireplace decorations and of course the chair decoration.

Each Chiavari chair was draped with a deep red satin sash and dressed with festive picks.

The finishing touch was the beautiful fairy light canopy which created a wonderful warm glow throughout the day as well as adding that seasonal feel to the whole room.

The celebrations continued well into the night and the fairylights and hundreds of candles positioned all around the venue created a magical feel to the party.

Congratulations Emily and James, we hope you had a wonderful day and wish you both a very happy life together.

We loved creating this stunning wedding and it will definatly be one we will remember for a long time to come. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day.
